The history...

The Houston Dutch Lions FC is run by a Dutch Family who has a great passion for soccer. The Houston Dutch Lions FC is a franchise of the Dutch Lions Capital Group USA, founded in 2009 by Erik Tammer and Mike Mossel. The Dutch Capital Group has ownership in eight other Dutch Lions FC clubs in the USA: Dayton Dutch Lions FC (2010, Men’s and Women’s team – 4th and 2nd level), Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC (2013, Men’s team – 4th level), Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC (2015, Women’s team – 2nd level – and Youth Academy), New York Dutch Lions FC (2017, Men’s team, exhibition games, Women’s team – 2nd level), Miami Dutch Lions FC (2019, Men’s team – 4th level), Chicago Dutch Lions FC (2020, Men’s team, 4th level, 2xWomen’s team – 2nd level), Oceanside Dutch Lions FC (2020, Women’s team – 2nd level) and Washington Dutch Lions FC (2021, Women’s team, 2nd level). They also co- founded and co-owned FC Cincinnati (MLS).

 

The Houston Dutch Lions FC Franchise is led by majority owner Martin Kroeze and executed by his sons Dennis Kroeze and Robbert Kroeze. Martin Kroeze has been involved on the board of Eredivisie Club (1st division) Willem II in the Netherlands for several years and was an interim Technical Director of the club. Dennis and Robbert Kroeze had the experience to play for College teams in Ohio, and both Maintained an MBA in Business and Sports Management.
